Heat treatment of wood is carried out following the international phytosanitary standard (ISPM 15 – HT). They specify that the wood must be kept in the drying chamber at a temperature of 56 °C for 30 minutes. This process prevents the spread of quarantine pests.

When exporting goods outside the EU, all packaging must comply with the phytosanitary standard (ISPM 15 – HT).

During the process, no chemical reagents or preparations are used, it is an environmentally friendly process.
